About the coffee
This natural processed lot is part of 2nd Mile Specialty’s Kubwa Tano (Swahili for Big Five) Series, a collection of coffee that intends to reflect the vast wilderness beauty and vibrancy that defines Tanzania. Grown at 1,400 – 2,000 masl, red ripe cherries are hand-picked and delivered to the washing station for re-sorting, where the final cherries collected are then placed on African raised beds. The coffee is regularly turned and covered during the hottest part of the day and night against possible rain pour to control fermentation process and achieve optimal moisture content. Indulge in a smooth, medium-bodied cup with winey notes and hints of red grapes and berries.
